CARNIVORE X

Do you see the sheep, my dear?
Grazing all bunched up in fear?
Why must I help uphold their wall?
Why should they matter to me at all?
Do you see the sheep, my friend?
What is it that they so defend?
Why won't they let me thin their herds?
Why won't they listen to my words?

No one understands that death is necessity
Nobody cares when the predator cries
Nobody gets it when I tell all the people
I feel a balance when the crippled one dies
Why should I have mercy for the pitiful?
Why should I pity the pathetic?
Why should I be protective of the weak ones?
What is compassion to a beast?

Do you see those little fools?
All wrapped up in their fucking rules?
Why should I protect their babes
When I'd much rather fill their graves?
Watch them as they turn from me
Watch their faces—do you see?
They break the laws of nature when
They will not let the killers in

No one understands that death is necessity
Nobody cares when the predator cries
Nobody gets it when I tell all the people
I feel a balance when the crippled one dies
Why should I have mercy for the pitiful?
Why should I pity the pathetic?
Why should I be protective of the weak ones?
What is compassion to a beast?

As they make me sheath my claw
They are mocking nature's law
They should not mind in the least
If I should choose to go and feast
Instead I must be called a freak
I'm forced to sit and spare the weak
They teach their children to be meeker
Watch the weak beget the weaker

No one understands that death is necessity
Nobody cares when the predator cries
Nobody gets it when I tell all the people
I feel a balance when the crippled one dies
Why should I have mercy for the pitiful?
Why should I pity the pathetic?
Why should I be protective of the weak ones?
What is compassion to a beast?
